Not one for shying away from doing my own maintenance so I don't use them that often but I'd just like to give a nod to Buzz cycles in belper! Went down yesterday with a bit of a flexy rear wheel, thoroughly nice chap who said he'd have a look whilst I was there. Stopped what he was doing and chucked it on the jig. Needed a bit more work than just a tweak so it'll be ready for Monday after work! Great service and I hope they continue to do well as I'll definitely be back!!I
Got to disagree with you here, I noticed this shop as I travel through Belper on my way to work.
I thought I'd support my local bike shop and have tried it several times.
Don't really want to say too much but I over heard them asking wheel building advice off a customer when I was in there as the guy building the wheels didn't have a clue. They might be able to true the odd wheel up but I certainly wouldn't call them wheel builders.
I've give up with the place now, I've been in numerous times for bits that I would expect to be in stock as they are bits you need to get your bike going that day etc.
Bottom brackets, cassettes, spokes, grips, chains, brake spares.
Never had anything in stock, simply pulled a suppliers book out and said we can get this or that at extortionate prices later in the week. I got really bored of the suppliers books keep coming out.
That's no good to me so unfortunately my business goes to chain reaction.
Never been out of stock of anything I need, very good prices and here next day with free delivery.
Oh and as for wheels I'll be building my own.
