"Dave the Santa" was ace. He coped very well with 5 minutes of weirdness from my lad although the cheese sandwich request did throw him for a couple of seconds.

Well, I was disappointed that Santa came in to the harbour on a boat and not water ski-ing as he had done in previous years. Still, there was consolation to be had in the hog-roast, mulled cider and the quietly menacing man dressed in horror costume, snowman outfit. No cheese sandwiches here.
