Walking backwards is not working out. Not only can I not see where I'm going but my flip-flops seem to be uni-directional in their travel. ๐Ÿ™

Better than losing one though.... flip , flip , flip.
Interestingly my Teva's make very little sound compared to my Fat Face ones. I put this down to the moulding nature of the Tevas that make them fit your feet much better.

OK, not that interesting....

Edit: A delivery van has just arrived full of bike stuff and I got all excited about the thought of my daughters Pompetamine frame and forks arriving.
When Mr Delivery Man handed over just one small box containing my new pair of Teva Mush I decided that my [disappointly floppy] Fat face flip flops can be donated to my 6 month old Spaniel who likes them a lot.
Pic of Jasmine waiting for either a flip or a flop - and yes that it the table she's lying on ๐Ÿ˜•

As an aside - the better a runner is the less noise they make when their feet hit the ground.

No, that is interesting.

I have a pair at home that function perfectly... flip-flopping superbly.
I'm now wonder if I swap the lefts over... will I get a pair of flip-flips and a pari of flop-flops?

BBSB... I can see where you're going with that... the problem is I can't see where I'm going!

Especially as I now need glasses. Life is so hard sometimes.

Barefoot for me now. Unless shoes are 'required', as Sharkbait will confirm.

Didn't like those Teva's above, not very comfortable - plus my wife says they look like old mans shoes 'cos of the straps ๐Ÿ™

The Toachi 2 were comfier:

Toachi 2

and the zilches are quite comfy, although the toe loop is an acquired taste:

Zilch

but I am not allowed those either as she doesn't like the cross strap ๐Ÿ™

There is nothing sexy about Teva's, or in fact any sandals. Unless they are on a lithe, tanned female outdoorsy river rafting guide. And in that case I don't think it has much to do with the shoes tbh.

A case for practicality can be made, but sexy? pull the other one.

You know what Stuey? You might be right. It could well be the feet and legs inside them ๐Ÿ™‚
Though Tevas are the only acceptable adventure sandal. All others are horrid regardless of feet/legs.

Keep talking about action sandals and I'll be forced to post a pic of some amputated feet. IMO the only acceptable way to wear them.

TG those are awful, sorry mate

๐Ÿ˜ณ

just looking for some lightweight sandals to replace some cheap Nike ACGs I have had for ages and are (my) wife acceptable.

I need them for a trip to the Maldives next month so I don't tread on anything nasty whilst messing around in the shallows.

What about these:

these are the lightest I can find, as the Reefs seem to get dodgy reviews now:
