Finally i have rescued my artwork from my parents loft, all of the portfolio was created in the early 1990's while i was at school/ art college.
At last iv'e had the time to photograph it properly- so im going to post it up here one at a time to share with the world (of Singletrack ๐Ÿ˜† ).

First is a Mint Sauce inspired acrylic painting of one of the iconic bikes of the time (Trek 9500 i think). This was 1993.

Yes that is a Tour De France king of the mountains jersey ๐Ÿ˜‰

Tell me what you think of them!

way ahead of your time on fork/head angles.

๐Ÿ˜† Hey i was at college, of course i was slack ๐Ÿ˜†
(I did learn to play pool pretty well and i also learned that 2 Newcastle Brown Ales could make me feel worse for wear at 3pm)

A bike related painting for me, as this is what iv'e ridden under many times in the last 20 years- it's the railway viaduct at Eynesford in Kent. It's a road section which links up many other off road trails in the local area. Part of the Darent Valley Path and one of my favourite places in the world.
Painted with Acrylics in 1995.

the earing really marks the rider as being from the 90s !

If it was today he have to have one arm completely tatooed.

Yes, and I'm keeping it! ๐Ÿ˜€
I test rode one of those Treks, so very, very bouncy! No damping at all, I rode it up the road from the bike shop, and back again; nothing would have induced me to try riding the misbegotten beast off road... ๐Ÿ˜ณ
Good pic of Missy, met her twice, in Vail in '94 at the Worlds, and at the Bike Show a couple of years later. She signed my Cannondale SuperVee 3000 that I took to Vail, as that's what she was riding when she won the Downhill there.
Happy memories... ๐Ÿ˜€
