MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
Hi chaps,
After badly bruising my carpal bones, I can't ride for a while so I'm starting to run again.
When I used to run, I had a little Sansa Clip with MP3s on it.
Now, I don't have any actual music - I have Spotify.
There's a player for Spotify that does exist, but reviews aren't good....

Is there any other options? My phone is way too large to run with, was looking at smaller smart phones too...
Cheers
Ricks
Sorry, no idea where to even start, any suggestions would be based on having all your own music stored locally. I have no clue how you use Spotify or it’s playlists.
I've just noticed the finger in the image I shared. Can't unsee.
Garmin Forerunner 645 Music
The Garmin looks like you need to have the music downloaded, rather than in Spotify.
I'm really looking for a portable streaming music device.
Watches with interest as my aged iPod Nano is dying.

Should work fine. Just need Spotify premium
How big is your phone? Samsung s7 here, fits perfectly in decathlon running shorts rear pocket, snug fit so doesn't bounce about.
That and spend money on good wireless earbuds.
Bluetooth earphones and Spotify on my phone in a flip belt ... does the job for me
I just put my phone in a running belt.
Garmin Vivoactive 3 music.
I got mine before xmas hoping they'd release Spotify to it and last month they did.
It works great, download your playlist to the watch via your phone.... takes a while but no need to go anywhere near a computer... if I can get it to work easily, it really must be. Paired with bluetooth earphones away you go.... Note, you don't have "live" spotify.
I think it looks great as an everyday watch, holds power well and chargers quickly.... I think its a pretty good smart watch.. has notification, contactless payment etc but I'm not worried about all that.... For me it pick up gps quick, plays music and uploads to garmin connect/strava automatically once I get back in the house.
Good luck
echo the above, any of the Garmin watches that will support Spotify. You can download the app from the Garmin IQ store, load up any playlist, a pair of cordless blue tooth earphones, and you're away.
Nano 6th gen. There is nothing better. đŸ˜€
Cool! Cheers guys, you sent me on a loop of looking at Spotify Offline supported devices.
The Garmin were a bit too much for what I wanted, so ended up with a Samsung Gear Sport:

And some Bluetooth earphones:

Do you get dropouts on the bluetooth headphones when running?
Aftershox with built in storage. Don't be a headphone zombie.
