I need to create an online photo album that multiple people can contribute to.
Any recommendations for something more fit for purpose than drop box please?
OneDrive? Afaik you won’t run into the contributor limit that Dropbox used to (they need a paid account to upload more than 2gb to your shared resource).
Facebook is pretty damned good at this, though it’ll drop resolution if you wanted to go to print.
It's for a slideshow type thing after a funeral, so doesn't need to be viewable as an online album so would rather not use Facebook.
Onedrive. Then lock it again after everyone has contributed

Have done this with Google Photos. You'll think you've set the permissions correct but you'll still need to tweak them before all and sundry can add their photos. It does work well but I wish there was some automatic AI that told the sister in law "You have added fifty photos, all of your dogs and they are nearly identical. Three have been saved. "
You need to create an online photo album which isn't viewable as an online photo album?
Get people to email you photos. Save them out to a folder on a laptop.
