I have a staff member (contractor) that is in need of MS software. Its over £600.
If I buy a single licence, does it become locked to a particular PC (its his rather than a company owned machine) or if he left the business would we be able to install it on another machine?
I'm guessing the former?

I think the licence is linked to the log in so if you have control of that it's yours. Anyway don't buy, subscribe, costs a lot less, more like £80 per year, let them sort it and bill you.
Can you subscribe to Project? Thought that was just the office package?
What MS software does your contractor need for the job which costs £600 and which they don't already own?
