Even by the standards of anti-heros, I don't share that wish! He's a troubled soul and seems very depressed. Great character though!

No I haven't. This is the first tv I have watched outside a bit of Simpsons for years. Don't do netflixs etc

There's always the movie that the series was based on - The Magician 2005 (same main actor/character). I haven't watched it myself though.......yet
I watch Mr Inbetween off the back of this thread and now want to watch the film. Series was really good, think the film is on Apple TV or something.

I think the film may be available on iTunes. Just got a free subscription for Apple TV + and it's not on there unfortunately. I've been wanting to watch it for ages.
