this is for my daughter who's turning 7. looking for something which is an all in one Mp3 player, portable speaker, with mic input for informal karaoke (might regret that part!)
otherwise, she's got a kiddy tablet running very limited version of android...
any suggestions

You seem to be describing an android tablet or phone lol!
A better tablet with some mains powered speakers maybe?
