Moving with work to Cheshunt just outside M25.
Does anyone live/work anywhere near this area?
Would love to move out of central but need to convince Missus with a info on a nice area.
Is there any good riding anywhere in this part of north london?
Any advice will be gratefully received!
The only riding around that way I'm aware of is Epping Forest but then you're not too far from places like Woburn, Chicksands & the hills around Hitchin.

I can see a bit of their head office from my window as I type. Won't be sad to leave having lived here most of my life (the rest in London).
There are some nice areas to live around here, depends what you want and what you liked about London. And if you have kids as the schools vary in quality a bit.
There is fantastic singletrack riding in Epping and Broxbourne Woods, when it's not too muddy. Broxbourne is in sensational condition right now.
The road riding is pretty awesome actually, loads of short hills and miles of rolling country lanes (green belt).

Hertford and Ware are definitely worth a look. Small towns with good comms links and services. There's a good selection of local bridleways for some moderate XC.
Chilterns are only 30 mins away.
