Sahara, sort of Indiana Jones lite with Matthew McConaughey and Penelope Cruz. Actually i like alot of McConaugheys films, this used to be an embarrassment but it has gotten easier to admit in recent years. Not saying it is acceptable to admit, just easier!

Muppet Christmas Carol

Thats not a guilty pleasure thats a modern classic!

I can never turn off Roadhouse. I don't really like the film - but it's compelling in its awfulness.

Dune - the David Lynch version. Absolutley besotted with it when I was about twelve, and I'm still prepared to watch it now even though I'm plenty old enough to realise how bad it is. Especially some of the acting (Sting!!)

Tank girl, Starship Troopers and Roadhouse are all great. How about Disney Aladdin? It's ace but I'm ashamed. Not a fan of children's films as a rule.

Cliffhanger

I signed up for climbing lessons after that film! When the instructor had us all make introductions, we were supposed to say what had inspired us to take up climbing. Cliffhanger had been out for all of two days at that point, and I had seen it in the cinema, so that was my answer. It caused no end of mirth.

Pretty in Pink...? No guilt here - John Hughes fanboy for sure!

I love some of the films up above - Affair to Remember not a guilty pleasure, I love it openly. Notting Hill and Pretty Woman are full on guilty pleasures despite both having the same lovely female lead.

As a kid, one of the reasons I looked forward to Christmas was you were guaranteed your annual fix of the Italian job, Zulu and the great escape. It's not Christmas without Michael cane and Steve McQueen
