[Closed] MOT Q

The wife has a Renault Grand Scenic, there is an issue meaning the ECU and wiring loom need replacing which is a long story in itself.
If the car was to go in for an MOT with the passenger airbag switched off and a message on the dash saying passenger airbag is switched off would it still pass the MOT providing there were no other issues found?

I believe not, airbag light on is now a fail. Used to be an advisory but I think they'd activate it to check.
What happens when it's activated?
