I use knives with snap off blades at work, and I break them all at some point. No one seems to make a decent long lasting one. Years ago at work we had a metal one with a cartridge that loads the blades and it was great, but I can't find anything like it now. Even the £10 ones at Wickes are a load of rubbish.

I use this every day of the week. I'm a sparky, cutting cable sheaths, trimming plastic etc, wouldnt want anything else:
