Everyone knows that anyway. London is now, to all intents and purposes, an independent nation state within the UK. All economic and political decisions are made solely for the benefit of the City and those in the South East, to the total exclusion of everywhere else in the country!
Time for full independence for the South East I reckon. Then the rest of the UK can get on with rebuilding its economy
