Shits getting real now…

Well the Greggs heir is a convicted paedophile so there are parallels to the Royal family.

Pretty sure he is not the Greggs heir, just a disgraced family member. And technically,no member of the Royal family is a convicted paedophile, sadly. But other than that, you are spot on.

I think the company removed any influence or control from him but he still stands to inherit.

We'll be closed. Advantage of working for a small company where the boss is sole shareholder/decision maker and treats their staff like people.

I'll be off to my model flying club for a day's flying I think...

We are moving to Bank Holiday service as Vet practices, closed bar urgent or emergency cases. Means some people have to work as Hospital staffed 24/7/365. As schools closed, lots of team members would have been struggling anyway without that decision. Time in lieu or overtime for those working and still aiming to have doors closed between 11-2 barring emergencies so they can watch part of it. Will also get higher choice of Bank Holiday worked next year

At least we will be able to plan for the Coronation next year!

LOL! Have we got to go through all that next year?!?

I'm looking forward to next year's Coronation Thread already 😊

Well I'm booked for a covid booster jab on Monday now.

It's what she would have wanted.

Although I am slightly surprised that the covid vaccination centres will be open.

Centre parcs should take note on Pleasurdomes sensible and mature approach to do enough to satisfy ardent royalists, whilst not spoiling the entire day for everyone else
Apart from mums net, as this now puts into doubt the whole 'going to center parcs is worse than bum secs' discussion

Disney+ doesn’t screen ‘Andor’ until the 21st.

In light of recent events, it wouldn’t hurt Disney to bring forward their scheduling and screen it a couple of days early.

It’s what the worlds been waiting for.

Unusually, work head office has decided to give everyone across all sites the day off, which makes it easier for me to get my 3rd Covid booster shot.
I should be working the rest of the week, but a letter arrived this morning, telling my my cataract operation is this week! A month or so ago I was told it could be any time in the next four months, so I was taken a little bit by surprise, to say the least!

Gives me a week to properly recover before driving to work again.
