There's no arguing, AFAIK no rules are broken, I've got a household problem that isn't resolved and I might get further advice on, but the thread is now closed. Why is that?

joking aside, two identical threads. I think we can certainly forgive that when you’re trying to hurredly get advice in a stressful situation. Good on the mods to keep the forum tidied up when we accidentally double post too.
It would be helpful if mods just put something in to say why a thread is closed.
In this case a simple misunderstanding or forum glich.
But on other occasions it would help the user base to understand the forum rules and red lines better, especially those times where offending posts have been removed so we can't actually see what the problem is.
