are you usign the 'overview' button - there was a problem with cache giving errors for a while some time ago. Try clearing cache and cookies?

Can't clear cache/cookies etc, work laptop, locked down.

Hmmm.. It's a particular cross channel ferry ad delivered by Google Adsense. I should be able to track it down and kill it. Give me 15 mins to get a coffee in me first 🙂

No worries Mark... it's an inconvenience rather than a major disaster.

Weird though as i was looking at Ferries/shuttles recently for a trip to France and most of my Ads are Eurotunnel related currently.

Struggling to find it. I can block the url for eurotunnel but that seems a bit drastic. We are still investigating. Is this happening to anyone else?

I guess most others won't be getting the banner as it's google being clever and using my previous browsing history etc... i've tried googling a few other things to try and get Google off the case of the tunnel...

managed to get my history cleared so i'm not getting tunnel ads now and hence at the moment it seems all OK...

If you can see the ad on the page you can click on the litle blue triangle at the top right of it to bring up the Google Ads privacy page. You can opt out of seeing that ad.
