I am a coach and a committee member at a local amateur Rugby club.
We need a way of messaging the players, parents etc and were wondering about getting a mobile phone with unlimited text messages.
Do any of the mobile networks have an option where you can message from a pc/online and the texts come from your text allowance?
Nokia used to do pc suite so you could plug a mobile in to your pc and send the texts from your pc, but we would like the option where coaches/committee can send out messages to all the members in one go or to individuals without needing possession of the mobile.
Any input would be greatly received and we do understand that unlimited texts does not always mean unlimited!! 🙄
T-mobile do. And I think O2 do. T-mobile will give you unlimited txts online. Not sure about O2 though.
May be worth having a look at a sports team management website such as Teamer.net, as I recall these allow you to send text messages/emails etc out to your team members/contacts dead easy.
O2 on line txts are limited to 10 per month.
