Just move what you can to card (music, pics) and use Google Android File Manger from app store to keep it cleaned up.

If you go in to Settings > Apps there may be an option in each app's "page" to move it to the SD card, like this:

Not all apps allow you to do it and it may depend on the version of Android you're running.

well that is a bit crap . dont have the option to move the apps .

When you first stick a memory card in, it asks if you want to use it for app memory or storage of things like pics. I can't remember the exact terms.

If you set it up to store pics when you first put it in, you can't then use it to store apps to. This could be why you don't have the option.

You could always back up the card, format it and see what happens when you put it back in...

Some people have put a way to do it but looks very complex to me .

Have you got the option to format SD as Internal storage? This will combine the SD card with the phone's internal storage.

Think you need Marsmallow or later for the option (and no idea if it's available on all phones).

Top right click on 3 dots menu

And then see what options you have there

no options for internal storage .

That's rubbish.

16gb really isn't enough these days, even my 32 is borderline.

I'd imagine the way round it is to root it and add a custom ROM, which is a ballache unless you're interested in playing about with such things.

Or buy a new phone.
