MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
As above, let's have a bit of your favourite noise. 😀
On topic....?
I saw this fella perform at a tiny, tiny music festival in a beautiful ramshackle elfin garden one evening in the depths of summer a year or two back..
twas very moving, and he was wearing a Gore cycling jacket.. 8)
Yunki, I remember the Diagram Brothers from the early 80's 😀
'Ron, The Morris Minor's Gone' was a particular favourite, but appears to be the only piece of music known to man that isn't on youtube.
Andy got a fair old bit of fame from his work with Tim Booth and James,
I'm glad that he still does experimental stuff and plays at gigs in people's back gardens.. 😀
my fave noise
@yunki - cheers for the Spaceheads link, I had no idea they were making new stuff!!
(although no speakers at work so will have to listen to it later when at home)
Anything by The Field would fit the bill.

Live the dream - dream the fish!
Sorry.. gotta pop another Akasha Project in here.. simply because they are minimalist, ambient, downright odd and absolutely beautiful..
*Favourites thread*
I was coming in post Haxan Cloak, but see I've been beaten to it. Some Biosphere instead.
Saw Phillip Glass Orchestra perform Koyaanisqatsi at the Edinburgh Festival two years ago, with the film on the big screen, utterly brilliant. 🙂
Sasha - Wavy Gravy
Aphex Twin - Xtal
Shpongle - Around the world in a tea daze
So many more excellent ambient electronica but these can be listened too forever
Shpongle - Around the world in a tea daze
Simon Posford and Raja Ram are the Dons
The one, the only Boards of Canada.

Also bookmarks thread. Liking the Akasha Project a lot.
Has anyone heard the Agnus Obel album? Not sure if it fits in with the OP's question but it really is quite good.
Give her a whirl, hopefully you won't regret it.
How could I forget this
Am currently drifting off to an ace electronica/down-tempo/ambient/whatever mix, starring HAL the computer...
