Military vehicles, ...

[Closed] Military vehicles, charity, boxing and not asking for sponsorship!

Hi folks,
I know the subject line is a little odd so please allow me to explain!
I'm involved with a White Collar Boxing event where 'regular joe's' who have never boxed before have 12weeks training and get in the ring for a 3x2 minute fight. I've done it twice before and can say its probably some of the hardest (and best) training I've ever done!
The fighters are all raising Sponsorship for two charities - The Royal British Legion and a less well-know charity, Soldier On who specialise in getting disabled ex-service men and women back into work.
Because it's going to be a militarily-themed night, we were hoping to get a couple of smaller military vehicles to be parked outside the front of the venue on fight night.

I know it's a massive long shot, but does any one know anybody with a military vehicle who would like to / be able to help out this great cause?

Fight Night is the 2nd July....I heard there is another big fight that night, but it can't be as important as this one ๐Ÿ˜‰

My email is morgs.bdavies@gmail.com

Thanks in advance - loads of beer involved for anyone that can help!

Cheers,
Morgs

Surely your local TA centre or University OTC could help?

One of the Charities has already tried their links with the TA - good idea with the OTC though - I'll try tomorrow.

Anything else to help is appreciated - they would really add to the night

Local landrover owner's club maybe? There'll be the odd ex-military one I'm sure. Maybe even a willy ๐Ÿ™‚
