As my wifes favourite film is Amelie hence my daughters name,I thought we'd watch Micmacs from the same director Jean-Pierre Jeunet. When the subtitles popped up I thought this is going to be hard work for a Sunday evening movie but my god! the film is awesome I recommend seeing it soon! It's now one of my favourite films

Ace, isn't it, Jeunet's good.
If you liked those two, make sure you get Delicatessen, just as good.

Yeh I thought it was great too. I took my 12 year old son to see it at the cinema, neither of us knowing it was subtitles, when we'd planned on seeing another movie that was full.

His face crumpled when the subtitles came up but he really enjoyed it.

Great director; but a word of warning. Do not, under any circumstances, watch his Alien film. It cannot be unseen.
