One of my brother's mates was a minor actor back in the 90s, mostly minor parts in soap operas, but one decent part in an art movie. He was actually a decent actor, but one of the most annoying people I've ever met. He started off in stand-up, so any attempt at conversation always involved him cracking endless attempts at lame jokes. I'd rather punch him in the face than talk to him. However, compared to this story, he sounds pretty normal. I don't think it's the couch I'd be tossing out of the house.
