Accidentally knocked the audio jack that was plugged into my laptop, enough to bend it slightly.
One of these things.
I've managed to bend it back though. But now when I plug it into the laptop the sound comes out really badly, and a lot of buzzing comes out the speakers. If I push slightly on the jack in downwards direction (perpendicular to the socket) while it's plugged in, the sound comes out normally. It's the same with headphones too.
I'm thinking there is damage inside the audio socket in the laptop? Any ideas on how to fix this? Or do I need to take it to a shop?

Never mind, fixed it with a needle and guesswork. Sort of.
