Any one do it? Any books/podcasts/app resources worth a gander?

I've tried headspace for iOS, but keen to try some other stuff.

I've done and really enjoyed and benefited from guided meditation at the Manchester Buddhist Centre.
But most efforts to do it at home fail. Mainly because we have a small house and 2 children, but also because the self-discipline isn't there.

I can heartily recommend going to a proper centre for it though. Guided group meditation is pretty special.

Edit: I've managed useful meditation during crises, but that's not quite the same. Still, it proved a useful skill to have!

Yes. I meditate most days and have done for about 18 months. I would recommend finding a local guided group session as a good start. It is a skill which you need to cultivate and work at but is very worthwhile.
