[Closed] Medics and amateur dermatologists of STW diagnose my daughter's skin reaction

She went for walk through the local water meadows wearing tight - long grass, wild flowers, that sort of thing.

Came back with lots of small lumps on her legs (rear leg in this pic shows these) plus these larger lumps some very swollen, her face also went red and swelled (now gone back down). All 'not as itchy as they look'.

So, I assume it's a reaction to some plant she's brushed against (and shes touched her face after contact)?

What would STW do?

Looks like v mild phylophotodermititis. (easy for you to say) The sap of some wild parsley when combined with sunshine can produce a rash and small blisters. Most are harmless, but Giant Hogweed can cause blindness and if you find it should be reported.

Keep the areas out of direct sunlight, wash hands, don't touch eyes.

went to village pharmacy as it had spread, they've seen 5 or 6 people today with same thing so something locally causing an issue. She's on piriton tablets and hydrocortisone for where it's most itchy.

phylophotodermititis

Usually a bit more severe than that, it looks like the worst sunburn ever (which is pretty much what it is).

tinas - there's no real 'centre' to them like you get with most bites and far more rash like in other places.

Had a few unexplainable mega itchy skin lumps myself recently on my legs and on one of my big toes, not brushed against any plants, I've barely been out besides work shifts.

There were reports of such things after COVID-19 infection (which I think I had ~10 weeks ago), but I've no idea if the link was ever substantiated.
