Did you shout?
Is it too late to put them back?
Shout? I'm in Blighty, they're in Brittany. That would be one loud yodel ๐
What do the mad axe men shout en France? Bois! ?
Not the same as tim-buurrr!! is it?
That looked like fun, it's a real buzz bring down a tree that size, when it all goes to plan.
And the picnic table survived. Chapeau!
They were a bit beyond me especially as they'd have squashed the house if they dropped the wrong way. Cue the French (well Dutch actually) Axe Men.
What you shout depends on whether it's going to plan.
Swear filter won't let me repeat the words that echo 'round our woods when things aren't going to plan. Otherwise it sounds much like nailing a a section of singletrack, railing a berm or clearing a technical line or just 'have that!'
And if it doesn't go to plan: Ruuuuuuuunnnnnn!!!!!!
Update for the wood fanbois (see what I did there?). Mrs Boblo and I have just spent some time playing at French lumberjacking where her past career as an East German shot putter came in handy....
The scene in the photos above were turned into this tho lots of splitting still to do:
