There's a Wacom One on Amazon for £56, is this the one for basic entry level stuff? Mrs Grips wants to do some drawing with Krita. There's also Wacom Intuos...?

the intuos has a better pen and more sensitivity. a lot depends on screen size, if a tablet is very small and you are using a 27in screen the pen strokes will be small and not natural, if your tablet is big and the screen small you end up doing exaggerated movements.

unless you are using them daily for work then the cheaper (non pro/intuos) are fine if they work with your screen size.

i use mine nearly every day so have gone through a few, as i break the pens eventually and the surface becomes shiny (not that it stops them working) the buttons on an intuos are worth the upgrade if you need to do a lot of repetitive keystrokes at the same time as drawing.

Thanks, ordered the One in the end as some suggested that for the price the extra size was worth it over the better performance.
