Sounds like he fell from the high platform at the MotoGP at the spinal injuries unit. Not good. Fingers crossed he's ok.

He's a legend. One of the first riders along with Peaty to inspire me when I was a kid. Get well soon Martyn

I tweeted animal earlier to ask if theres an update, lots of people are, they've gone worryingly quiet. Fingers crossed - his facebook page indicates he was airlifted after the crash

Yep, healing vibes from me too. Big inspiration in my early cycling years, I remember when I did my first back hop, what a feeling. From then it was hoppity hoppity hop hop for quite a while!

Oouff, is that a bit of Fat Mans Tracksuit?

Read the front page article earlier, hope he heals OK, always came across as a top bloke, he must have inspired hundreds of trials riders.

To be watching (again) the part where he goes up to meet Danny Mac in the Imaginate building and seeing him messing around on the cards on foot.. and also messing about with Danny in the rain riding street, its crazy to hear that this has happened. The drop Danny took off the gun in the Imaginate outtakes just shows how lucky he was to land fairly flat onto his back and only get a good winding.

So shocked to hear this, hope it all goes well for him.

My Mum's been in to see him today and says he's in good spirits (outwardly anyway)
He has also been told of the wall of good wishes for him, so lets hope for a good outcome #MEGACROSSEDFINGERS#

Was a smiling bundle of optimism until a minute ago when I read that...
Here is hoping it is still early days for a huge trauma and there is still progress to be made.

Likewise, it puts things into perspective when you hear of things like this.

I hope there is progress in his prognosis. FWIW, I personally wish him all the best.

Captain, that is one of my all time favourite sections from a riding video.

I wish Martyn all the best in recovering, he was one of the first influences in riding that I had. Ashton and Peaty were what really got me into riding properly, without those two good knows how my life would have turned out.

Heard about the accident, when it all went quite I thought he was making a full recovery.
Gutted to hear this today.
Like everyone else I hope he makes as full a recovery as possible as fast as possible
