I like that marmite cheese. Not quite as good as a proper marmite + cheese sandwich but it does for a quick fix!

I'll get slated for saying this, but I honestly prefer the 'fake' Marmite.

Oh and the bars taste like shiite.

Marmite XO

LOVERLY

Still undecided on the bars though... they taste nice but a bit dry for my liking. Gonna try one with butter.

Crusty white bread + butter + Marmite = Yummy!

I'm not entirely convinced by the XO though. It's not bad I just think I would struggle to tell it apart from the normal one in a blind taste test.

I had some a few year's back for Valentine's Day which was made with champagne. That had a different depth of flavour. Nothing says 'I love you' like Marmite.

You need to try the stuff from down under made by Sanitarium, its Marmite but even better. Different consistency, the stuff here is too sticky and thin and doesn't spread properly, and it doesn't taste right.

Vegemite is good too.

DezB - snap!

Meh - I'll eat it but am not fussed.

Really good under the cheese on your cheese on toast though.

Bees make honey, wasps make jam, flies make Marmite. 😀

Makes a great drink too. Only needs about 1/4 teaspoon in a mug of hot water.

Marmite XO, from picking it up in its presenation box in the shop to the last desperate scrape of the jar, a pleasure.

Marmite XO is good, but not sufficiently better to merit the monumental price hike IMHO.

Marmite rocks, I could eat it with a spoon straight from the jar.
