And who is the other spy…?

I think it’s The Armorer. Would be a bit of a twist!

Wondered that myself. Handily excusing themselves from the battle. And whoever it was that volunteered to fly up through the hole to go and get help.

Even bigger twist, and a strong echo of Empire Strikes Back, would be Greef Karga doing a deal to save his planet/people. He’s done the exact opposite before… but that might be the mirror image of Bo-Katan‘s story told in this episode… she mistakenly did a deal over her homeworld, and is now trying to fight back and regain it.

finally pulling all the threads together

don’t like how Mando is slowly becoming a side character in his own show

Started to feel like it's just becoming a vehicle to lead into another film trilogy. Or, maybe that's just me 🤔

Still loving it though.

Final episode today. A solid 8/10 for me.

6/10, could it have had a more Disney ending?

A bit formulaic, but still enjoyable and satisfying IMO.

What's the next Star Wars live action property coming up then? The Ashoka series?

Not had any films for a while (not complaining though).

Good-ish season finale...

Was disappointed we don't get any real Mythosaur action.

Going out on a limb and say Moff Gideon isn't dead!

Seeing theories that due to lack of tasche the Gideon we see in S3 is actually a clone.

I suspect people are over thinking this...but we didn't see a body.

I personally think we will see Gideon vs Thrawn wrestling (not actually wrestling) for leadership of First Order in Ahsoka.

but we didn’t see a body.

Could be the "disney-fication" of death though. They often have baddies fall off cliffs or whatever (see Captain Phasma in Last Jedi) rather than show the actual death on screen, especially if it's a kids show.

I've heard rumours that Snope is one of the clones? But then there's all sorts of bat shit crazy theories out there.

The Darksaber broke a bit easy, cheap plastic?

Maybe we'll see a clone Darth Gideon with force powers.

The way they cut the last scene reminded me of Babe (the film) for some reason. Just needed the blind mice.

Freaking ace episode.

I wonder what PSI a robotic arm can squeeze at.

Isn't Snope a failed clone of Palpatine?

I'm probably in the minority here but thought it was a bit of a shit hurried ending. Having watched all three seasons over the past few weeks IMO this was the weakest.

Watched S1 of Mandalorian with the kids and thought it was total garbage. Awful writing, one dimensional characters, dialogue was a total cringe-fest and baby Yoda is the icing on this cake of turd.

So why post in a Season 3 discussion?

I know it's fiction and all, but why do the jet packs have a range of not-very-far km when chasing a bat monster thing but can fly to space a month later?

I did wonder the same, I'm assuming the chase scene was actually much longer than they showed!!....

Is showed actually a proper word? it doesn't sound right...

For the same reason that R5 can use his boosters to descend 500m into a cavern then look nervous at the prospect that he might fall off a ledge...

Brain is on, should be disengaged 🙂

Re: jetpack the command ship was in high atmosphere not orbit so only a km or two.

My kids were mortified that they appeared to be bbq the two monster chicks they saved a few episodes earlier. Kill the mum eat the babies! Good family fun.

Maybe the Nite Owls' jet packs are better than those used by the Children of the Watch? 🙂

I actually enjoyed the finale. Plenty of action and the backdrop of the capital ship, plummeting into the forge was worthy of some big budget movies.

Was IG-11 a nod and a wink to this?:

Season 1 was just OK, watching season 2 now, and it’s a big improvement. High hopes for season 3!

Well, we finally got to watch the last two episodes over the weekend and really enjoyed them, however, I do agree that Grodu does seem to be taking over a bit. But the YES! NO! scenes were very funny (I am relieved they didn't introduce it until the very end though – the joke would wear thin very quickly).

Thats appropriate, as I've always likened you to one of those two old gits who sit in the box shouting down insults.
With respect of course 😆
