Am at Manchester central for a meeting for next three days.
Any tips on sensible price parking nearby? (daytime only)
At the top of Deansgate, past the Cathedral on your right and the car park is on your left, under as bridge. Not sure how close it is to where you need to be but I remember it being pretty reasonable.
If it's for a meeting, surely you can claim the cost...
(In which case, either park at Manchester Central (underground), or at the Ropeworks car park on Albion St (2 mins walk from Mcr Central)).
If you want cheap, then you need to be on the north side of the city centre, but then it's 15-20 mins walk each way.
Cheapest all day used to be at Museum of Science and Industry fiver all day
Parking at the MEN is three quid all day if you get there before 10am.
How convenient that is for where you need to be, I've no idea. What's Manchester Central when it's at home, do you mean Picadilly?
there's numerous car parks around chapel st that are £3ish all day; it's just over the irwell in salford, but they're all manned and a 5 minute walk gets you to deansgate/st ann's square/the bottom of market street.
It's what was the g-mex and is now Manchester central conference facility or some such. Guess 808 state won't be there this time!!
Through the railway arch next to Harry Hall Cycles in Whitworth Street West is pretty cheap all day. It's a few minutes from the Gmex. Easy to reach when driving in to the city too.
