[Closed] making meringues - do i need grease proof paper?

or will tin foil work as well?
(i have a very poorly equiped kitchen...)

Would have thought the bottoms of them would burn with foil, maybe just use the top bits that don't?
Or stay hungry?

Can't you make them in the microwave? in which case tin foil is a REALLY bad idea!

Tin foil will be fine, the bottoms won't be any more prone to burning than with baking parchment. Remember, low oven for quite a while.
