Bugger.
Like 90's pop culture is being erased.
RIP 🙁
Crap. RIP
Ohh dear, the Rough Guide lady?
Corrrr, she was utterly brilliant in that and a real cultural influence on a few of my friends ..
🥴
Couldn't remember the name until i saw the picture of her, then came flooding back..
Can someone call Terry Christian and make sure he's feeling alright?
I was a massive Rough Guide fan. Magenta (and Sankha) were responsible for filling my head with a kinds of wonderfully daft travel ideas. RIP
She was something to do with Sigue Sigue Sputnik as well, RIP
Darn. Always fancied her. Saw her a lot wandering around town when I had a studio in Soho, always seemed cool and edgy as she was wandering between whatever it was she was doing.
Bugger. Loved her on Rough Guide
She was something to do with Sigue Sigue Sputnik as well, RIP
Yes, she was. Their publicist iirc. Me and my mates were big fans back in the day. Couple of awesome road trips to see them.
That late night Channel X thing was her doing I think. Groundbreaking stuff.
RIP
She was something to do with Sigue Sigue Sputnik as well, RIP
Via relationship with Tony James (ex Generation-X) but I mostly remember her from Rough Guide. Sixty one seems so young to die these days
It’s been a crap few days recently, but Davina is the ultimate RIP
Davina is dead?!
Oh yeah, it was Network 7 I was thinking of. She used to present it.
for some reason I visualised a fat transvestite who had a minor hit in the eighties, then realised she was a bit of a teen crush in raybans from various youth programmes back then. Sad for her friends and family, she can't have been much older than 50 or so.
very much of her time I thought but often just brilliant interviews
Bugger.....the Rough Guide was brilliant..
