I am going to treat myself to a harris tweed jacket,
think I am going to have to get it made to measure, any idea on what kind of price such a thing would cost?

I'm given to understand that David Winter in Cas may be a little cheaper. I'm going to be asking them about suits shortly, so I'll find out.

Are you an odd size ? Would be worth trying a few different brands first to see if you can find something you like and fits well off the shelf and you'll get some ideas for what you'd like size and featrues wise

Ton, take your sheep to http://www.knockandowoolmill.org.uk/ and they'll make you the tweed.

If you're near Glasgow try Slaters they've a huge range and selection, not sure if they do mail order or on line.

Can absolutely recommend http://www.tweed-jacket.com/ had a lovely double vented, hacking pocket and ticket pocket jacket made up a few years ago.

Excellent choice of cloth, and liners, wide range of style options.
