I've just got a Macbook - and have downloaded a specific font that I would like to use - it is appearing in the Font Book ...... but doesn't appear to use in the Pages app??????
Any ideas why this should be and what I can do to correct ???
Is it a .otf or .ttf?
Sorted .... switched off and on ! I thought that was Windows thing lol

I just realised that I don't actually use the Font Book. When I need to instal a font I copy it straight into the Fonts folder (Macintosh HD > Library > Fonts).
If you have a .ttf file you'll likely need to convert it to a .otf. You can do this online at http://everythingfonts.com/ttf-to-otf
