I'm very much against the "all Tories are bastards" or "I'll never vote Tory" mantras but I believe this needs more exposure.
It does, but at the same time it's really good news that the Tory party's become so toxic for them.
Probably too late for this election but they should register "Independents for St. Ives" as a political party, and it would then become illegal for anyone else to use it on a nomination form.

Probably because when they are honest about their intentions or do own up to mistakes they get hounded out of office.
