Fancy doing [url= http://www.theedgecycleworks.com/mtbroutes/loughrigg-fell/ ]this loop[/url] from Windermere in the next couple of weeks, anybody got an ideas on how to make it a little harder maybe add a hike-a-bike line here or there?
The route you have is pretty much all the legal routes in the area, there are however, numerous cheeky trails and some permissive cycle routes on that map too, but very tricky to describe on here, Biketreks in Ambleside have some exellent knowledge, and will happily advise with additional more challenging trails. 😉
I'm pretty sure someone died last year near Tarn Hows while riding that loop.
Add the coffin trail bridleway to it then cheeky around Grasmere!
