I've just switched on the news.
Has there been a terrible storm?

🤔, Hawaii Island fires? Maybe they mentioned Los Angeles as part of the report for some reason?

I did a quick rewind of the weather for Los Angeles and it looked 'ok'.

What a coincidence! I'm sat reading this whist wearing a t-shirt with Las Angeles written on it. Sadly not bought in LA though. Actually acquired at Primark in Guildford. 🙁

Ah thanks. STW great at giving out quick replies.
Was worried as my nephew is often out there for work.

More likely to suffer alien invasion, tsunami, massive earthquake, zombies, or huge monsters in LA than a bit of shit weather.

Or riots due to police brutality…

I was out there around the time the court appearances were due. Fortunately nothing kicked off.

Just waiting for the San Andreas to get pissed about how America’s going and shrug its shoulders…

Maybe it’s todays headline in The Guardian “South-east England could be hotter than LA next week, forecasters say”. Not sure why they picked LA though.

How hot will LA be next week? In my neck of the woods (north Wiltshire) the highest temperature forecast over the next ten days is 24°, lowest 21°, so nice comfy shorts and tee weather.

Just checked LA over the next ten days - lowest 29°, highest 33°. Typical British media weather bullshit. Rolls eyes. Probably the same ‘forecasters’ that the Express often quote. Obviously their piece of seaweed on a string needs replacing.
