The ultimate blooper will always be the occasion when Trevor McDonald tried to say "Kent countryside" and turned it into a Spoonerism.

However, you'll never see it on any blooper-reel shows, both because of the resultant sweariness and the fact that he was reporting on a particularly horrific murder.

I seem to remember that Jeremy Hunt got mis-introduced on Radio 4 one morning. I can't remebr the details but it was something like "... and now to you Home Secretary Cun..."

Guy Goma's BBC interview is an all-time classic.

But for 80s film bloopers there's a lot to like about the end credits of Cannonball Run.

Jeremy Hunt the Culture Secretary was the spoonerism.

Can't think of any examples right now but I do like to sit to the end of the film just in case there's a final treat

That was James Naughtie on R4's Today. He was peeing himself laughing so much he couldn't get his questions out coherently. 😁

Jeremy Hunt the Culture Secretary was a Roger Mellie strip in Viz.

Carol's Doggers was hilarious. And bonus points for it being Carol talking about doggers - it wouldn't have been the same if it was Jon Sopel slipping up.
