I know where you can get western hemlock. Still some growing in Bringewood, but it’s a bit of a journey down the A49

I am interested in wild food, foraging etc and sometimes give my young boys something to nibble while out somewhere. I was by myself nibbling on cow parsley and sweet cicely, musing on how they look almost identical, so I though I'd get some leaves off these plus hemlock to show my boys and drum home the message I often tell them of "never ever eat anything wild unless you ask daddy first".
After a bit more research it seems that hemlock is not as common as I thought though, at least in this part of up north.
