Its interesting that its going back on the market. A friend of mine worked on sound and light installations in the millennium dome. They had to sign contracts with some of their suppliers promising to destroy equipment at the end of the run as enough kit to run the millennium dome, (or even enough kit to run an olympics) going back onto the market secondhand, but nearly new, would bankrupt the suppliers.
The post-Olympic development is nearly complete and the whole area is looking pretty cool to be fair.
Maybe we can get the £100'000 we're owed for the orbit tower then? Yes fond memories of that park.
