Had car stolen a couple of weeks ago, insurance have ordered another one but it's only just being bloody built so won't be ready for 4-5 weeks!!!

Who is the cheapest for a months car rental? The most basic car is fine, just as cheap as possible

I'd have said Evezy (1 month rolling contract EV hire) but they have a waitlist now.

Worth calling the big rental car firms, they can be surprisingly good for longer term hire. Call rather than just get quotes off their websites though.

Where are you based Loddrik? Could probably offer you a lend.

Some local firms are good, I usually end up with Kendall's who are in our area. Otherwise Thrifty are worth a look- Hertz level service and vehicle quality, budget price

just throw your dates + nearest airport into Kayak and find the cheapest

or ask the dealer if they'll lend you something?

Can you not get a hire car via your insurance for the duration?

You mean your insurer is replacing your car with a new for old? So your's was <1 year old when it was written off?
If so, and if you've had a courtesy car for the usual max 14 day period already then I'd be tempted to push back on the insurer. After all, it's their delay.
I doubt you'll win but it's worth a shot.

I used Easirent last year for a week’s hire. Cheaper than the normal names.
