What's it like? I mean, is the tube generally practical or what? That's the only way I know how to get around in the Smoke.

Gotta take the in-laws sight-seeing.

Since we've had the twins, we've never been on the tube with them, but one kid is probably dead easy in comparison?

We can't fold up a double pram and carry two babies and kit down an escalator!

How many adults, how many kids? Kids <= Adults = OK. Compact pushchair instead of one of those monster truck thingies is a bonus.

if you can, try and avoid rush hour

I work near south ken: tube for natural history/ science/ v&a museums 4pm-6pm is chaos

Four adults, one kid.

Pushchair is fairly small but chunky when up - and quite big and heavy when folded, comes in two pieces....

yeah you can do it, i help people with pushchairs in big smoke and you have 4 adults. besides smash your way through not as if others don't do the same.
