Our loft is freezing cold at the moment the rest of the house is nice and warm. The thing I can't work out is does this mean we have good or bad levels of insulation up there? We access the loft through a hatch and aluminium ladders and only go up ther when required not very often.

You have good insulation.
You don't want your heat getting lost up there.

In summer it'll be roasting up there...insulation is just as important ๐
After topping ours up, it drowned out the screeching seagulls nesting on the chimney pots ๐
