Balavoulin is my regular haunt.
Cairngorm Hotel.
Winking Owl (downstairs).

Looks like winking owl bothy bar is closed. Maybe seasonal? They mentioned staffing issues.
Upstairs is kinda dead, will try cairngorm hotel next then balavoulin next as on way back to accommodation.
Would have happily bought you a pint scotsroutes

Shame the bridge inn is closed for flooding again 
If you want to get a decent chat going with locals ask when the mountain railway is opening again

It's some time since the OBI was the favourite pub in Aviemore. Round about the same time they decided that eaters were more important than drinkers

Balavoulin doesn't do Cairngorm Brewery beers. It does have three handpumps with an ever-changing selection. That's one of the reasons it's my favourite.

Aww but we are after some nice hazy kegged IPA kinda thing, something from Cromarty. In fact, just go to Tomatin and eat pizza/drink cans. That's the current best night out in Aviemore
