What the actual ****!!!???!!!

Matt the useless scapegoat is going to steer Africa out of COVID are the UN mad?

Of course he is talented enough to save a continent and fully represent his constituents. (I'm not sure he's talented enough to be left in charge of putting the crayons away).

The Under Secretary General of the UN, Vera Songwe, praised his "success" in tackling the UK's pandemic response.

Is it 1st April?

According to the Daily Mail Nimko Ali, a woman who claims to be a feminist, despite backing Johnson as PM, lobbied on behalf of the wife cheat.

Perhaps Hancock sees the position as a way to exonerate himself, in a similar way that Tony Blair attempted to do so when he took on the role of Middle East Peace Envoy, after bringing war, death, and destruction, to the Middle East.

Writing on Twitter, the ex-minister said the job would focus on helping Africa's economy recover from Covid.

Aspirations on Africa's natural resources is all this could be about 😕

I dont know about that. If I was wanting to nick something he would be about the last person I would appoint to a job to help me out.

I used to feel like this but nothing surprises me anymore 🙁

No doubt some brown envelopes filled with bank notes and some tasty contract awards to companies he has "absolutely no connection to..." in the future.

I heard the landlord of his local pub recommended him to the UN.
Quid pro quo.

Looks like he's been sacked before he started, a new low even for him (job offer withdrawn, a glimmer of common sense).

I wonder if they've only just read the initial Pandemic report?

Tbh they probably wouldn’t have had access to it so it was all timing, once they read that he was a pivotal part of the biggest U.K. health disaster from an official report it probably wasn’t the greatest thing to have on your candidates cv.

I saw this in the news and laughed a lot.
I'm still laughing now.
He got sacked from an unpaid job before he'd even started it.

Poetic ****ing justice!

Based on the little I know about the UN I can't help but think he would've fit in.
