Bloody brilliant film, deserved more awards, a lot more.

That's all. Oh, go and see it if you haven't

Not if you're a big softie like me, I hate it when I get emotional watching a film.

I was particularly impressed with 'Hidden Figures' last week, it was far more interesting than I had expected it to be.

Yes thats on the list too.

But Lion was much better than LLL despite all the hype over the latter.

Gripped for the whole film. Loved the young actor, reminded me so much of the years I spent there in the 90s

Far better than the prequel, NiCad.

It's turning out to be an amazing start to the year for films. All the Oscar contenders have been great.

Lion was terrific through, especially the first half.

Beyond the Oscars I watched Patriots Day last week which is just a fantastically crafted film. Recreated very accurately with the added bonus of cinematic vigour. Peter Berg from Deepwater Horizon performs directing duties.

Just Moonlight to see tonight which lapped up on reviews and awards then I've seen all the Best Picture entries.

T2 has still been my favourite film of 2017 and will likely remain so.

Logan this week too which seems to be drawing in some great feedback.

I liked Hell and High Water too, and Nocturnal Animals
