I never knew you could get a lift through the Dartford Tunnel!

ooh makes me want to get a landy lift through the tunnel, just for the sake of it.
after 9/11 I was in san fran and they stopped cyclists riding the golden gate bridge and put on buses to take you over, it was fun and a welcome sit down before hitting marin.

I always used to enjoy the pedestrian tunnel section of the tyne tunnel in newcastle, it was always empty and you could ride through in peace and quiet, very surreal.
