Anyone else like a good boogie?

Or are you a hangin on the wall type?

Oooh, depends! Some gigs I throw some massive shapes and go a bit mental. Others I just tap a toe.

Clubbing days are over, but was always a bigfishlittlefishcardboardbox type. Especially with the right erm lubrication.

I am notorious for being very sweaty after Christmas do or wedding.

I prefer somewhere I can hear my friends voices nowadays on a normal night out though!!

Strangely I'm more likely to darnce when sober/straight than drunken/mash-upped, but a great fan of an aggro mosh-pit when pished - wouldn't go near one with t'booze.

As it happens, I might just put on my red shoes and dance the blues.

Yay, come on let's hit the floor.

I'm up for Rock n Roll, Funk, Soul, Punk, Reggae, Ska, classy Pop tunes etc, etc. Live music + lubrication helps.

If the music was right ย I used to be up regardless of where I was.

Now ,even if it's the best song in the world I really , really want to but can't. I guess that's what happens when you don't get drunk anymore.

I did sway a bit when I went to see Wolfpeople recently though.

Used to be a bit wild ..still dance but its a little muted these days ..not exactly daddy dancing though !

Having said that its probably only once or twice a year when the opportunity arises these days !

Used to enjoy swinging my pants at the discotheques in my younger days.

But I'm 42 now my preference is standing moodily by the dancefloor, watching the action and gently nodding along to the band. If I've had one too many shandies I may attempt to bust a move, but it is the epitome of dad dancing these days and any lucid moment of self-awareness will return me to moody nodding.

Really enjoy a good ceilidh though.

I went to a few parties around Christmas and it seemed to be the older end folks who got up to dance, whilst the younger end didn't bother unless they had seriously honedย  moves to bust, which I find a bit sad as the DJs were playing all sorts of tunes trying to get the floor rocking.
